Spring party at Appletree

Abby, Hollie, Laura and Louis met at a party given by the Aiteal Trust in Louis Sainsbury’s home, on Saturday 13th April. They were with their families, PAs, friends and supporters. Music was wonderfully provided by Derek, catering by Sugar and Spice, Auchterarder, the Pamiloo by PAMIS, decorating by Louis and his Appletree team.
The Aiteal Trust seeks to build community with and around people with complex care needs. Through showing Louis’s care and housing arrangements, aided by Laura’s mum and PA explaining Laura’s arrangements , the Aiteal Trust show alternatives are possible. Through building relationships, by collaborating with each other, finding allies, by changing culture, , the Aiteal Trust seeks to bring hope to the overlooked minority of people with complex needs and those who love them, encouraging them to lead their best possible lives.

The Appletree team have done an amazing job and its so inspiring to see the change in Louis.
