Story-telling with people with complex needs and those who love them best, ensures their voices are heard, they can shape their own lives.

’Louis’s story: The Story of Appletree’ tell Louis’s story, explain KAWA storytelling method and use it to describe the development of Louis’s home and community.

This research is a resource for other people with profound needs and their families, as well as professionals seeking homes in community for people detained in hospital or unsuitable placements.
