People with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)are often invisible. The Aiteal Trust aims to support them, their families and carers.
This is Louis Sainsbury. In 2022 he left a locked hospital ward and moved into his own home, Appletree Community, a project led by his mother, our Chair, Kate Sainsbury. Along with a physical home, Louis needs love and communication, skilled support from professional carers, continuing relations with family members, regular activities, events to look forward to, friends and community.
